JUSTIN COOK | LAY PASTOR

I did not grow up as a Christian, but was saved by God in 2004 while going to college at Penn State. From the earliest days of my conversion, God laid on me a particular love for the church. This love has manifested itself over the years through teaching children and adult Christian education, leading small groups in our home, and serving the local church as a deacon in churches in North Carolina and Colorado. I serve as an Air Force officer and my family and I moved to Santa Barbara in 2018 for me to pursue a PhD at UCSB. My wife, Lisa, and I have been married since 2007 and we have two beautiful girls, Rebekah and Evie. I was called to serve as a deacon at Apostles Church in 2019 and as an elder in 2020. We are excited to walk alongside the other members of Apostles Church as we seek to glorify God, love one another, and make disciples in our community.
