The story of the good Samaritan.
In this incredible story we read about a time when a few of the disciples were able to witness Christ transfigured into the majestic deity that He veils in other circumstances. In this encounter we learn to honor Jesus as God, and glorify Him as both the Creator and the redeeming sacrifice that humanity needs.
As Jesus makes His way through Galilee he encounters two women at different stages of life who are in desperate need of miraculous healing. In these important accounts God demonstrates that dependent faith can lead to physical and spiritual healing for desperate people.
The parables of Christ are very important but can be somewhat puzzling. Listen to this week's sermon in the book of Luke as Jesus tells one of the most famous parables of his ministry that gives us great insight into both the nature of salvation as well as the nature of parables themselves.
In this Easter morning sermon, we look at the foundational reality of our faith: Jesus Christ’s miraculous resurrection. Many people think of the cross as the centerpiece of our faith, but the truth is the cross would be meaningless without Christ’s resurrection. Listen to this week’s sermon to find out why!
In this section of the bible, Luke recounts for us an incredibly important account of how Jesus interacts with a self righteous religious leader named Simon as opposed to a woman who is considered to be of the lowest moral character. In it we will get insights into how to diagnose whether we are self righteous people who have dismissed our need for a savior, or if we have truly embraced the scandalous grace of Jesus Christ.
In this sermon Pastor Daniel continues to look at how Christ explains the dynamics of life in the Kingdom of God during his famous sermon on the mount. In it Jesus explains that the way that we treat others will reveal how our hearts have been either transformed by God's grace through the gospel or how they have been hardened through unbelief.
In this sermon Pastor Daniel contrasts the incredible differences between both the values and the ethics of the earthly kingdom and God's heavenly kingdom as we look at the famous beatitudes of Christ. In it we see that Christ both embodies and teaches an ideal that promotes loving others at our own expense in this life so that we can reap eternal reward and everlasting comfort in the next life.
In this sermon Pastor Daniel covers the important events of Jesus' baptism and His temptation in the wilderness. Though Satan tries to tempt God the Son to believe the lie that He doesn’t need to be like a man, Jesus reverses exactly what Adam did.
Adam as a man, failed by trying to be like God. Jesus, as God, succeeded by being the perfect man.
