Luke 7:36-50

In this section of the bible, Luke recounts for us an incredibly important account of how Jesus interacts with a self righteous religious leader named Simon as opposed to a woman who is considered to be of the lowest moral character. In it we will get insights into how to diagnose whether we are self righteous people who have dismissed our need for a savior, or if we have truly embraced the scandalous grace of Jesus Christ.

Luke 6:37-49

In this sermon Pastor Daniel continues to look at how Christ explains the dynamics of life in the Kingdom of God during his famous sermon on the mount. In it Jesus explains that the way that we treat others will reveal how our hearts have been either transformed by God's grace through the gospel or how they have been hardened through unbelief.

Luke 6:12-36

In this sermon Pastor Daniel contrasts the incredible differences between both the values and the ethics of the earthly kingdom and God's heavenly kingdom as we look at the famous beatitudes of Christ. In it we see that Christ both embodies and teaches an ideal that promotes loving others at our own expense in this life so that we can reap eternal reward and everlasting comfort in the next life. 


The Second Adam

Luke 3-4

In this sermon Pastor Daniel covers the important events of Jesus' baptism and His temptation in the wilderness. Though Satan tries to tempt God the Son to believe the lie that He doesn’t need to be like a man, Jesus reverses exactly what Adam did. 

Adam as a man, failed by trying to be like God. Jesus, as God, succeeded by being the perfect man.
