According to the earliest chapters of the Bible you and I are made in the image of God, a God who has always existed in community—The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. As a result, we all have a deep desire that God has put within us to connect with other people in a meaningful way. In addition, God has given each believer a purpose along with various abilities and strengths that should be used to serve one another according to Romans 12 as quoted above.

Community Groups are an intentional way that we fulfill the mission of our church to love God, love others, and lead others to do the same.

We love God in our small groups through worshipping together and developing our understanding of who God is as we dig deeper into the word of God and discuss biblical truths. We love others as we support each other through prayer, discipleship, and meeting one another’s needs in every area of life. Lastly, we lead others to love God and love people with our small groups by mobilizing together to get out into our neighborhoods and put the love of Christ on display through sharing the gospel, serving those less fortunate, and seeking the welfare of our city.

What to Expect

Our small groups are organized by location and meeting time. Our community groups are for everyone! Kids, no kids. Single, dating, engaged, married. Every age, every demographic. There are no barriers, just join, engage, and be encouraged.

Typical meetings include spending some time getting to know one another and enjoying each other’s company with some coffee and refreshments, praying together through a text of scripture, and having a focused dialogue based on the word of God.
